                                                   Leciona's Recall of the War

      "At the beginning of the war, many gryphons of both clans pondered why the war was even started. However, once the reason became known, Gaviya and Zyvir began to fight with a dark ferocity. The land between the clans had remained a peaceful border, nature showing its true beauty, flourishing all along the borders. Now, it had become the bloody center of the war. Weeks and months passed in the war with no end in sight. Citizens of the clans began to question the kings' decisions. Yhivya, the king of Gaviya, started to search for a way to end the war in response of his people. Kinjir, on the other hand, made no attempt to help end the war. Another problem picked at the citizens: only male gryphons were sent into the fight, leaving nothing but females behind. With the males gone to the battle, the gryphon population could only decline. With their minds on the subject of population, the clan of Gaviya had the final gryphon egg before the males left. Zyvir's population could only decline. Gaviya's last hope resided in the egg. To their fears, a female was born. Leciona shattered Gaviya's hope. As the war raged on, both sides began to fight as if greatly demoralized..." (Leciona wishes to leave you off here. Fwee hee.)
